Dental Emergencies

Few active families get through life without a dental emergency or two – and sometimes many more. Lakeside Dentistry can help you and your family out by relieving your pain and perhaps saving teeth you are in danger of losing.

Dental Emergency After Hours

Many dental emergencies don’t happen during regular business hours. But usually, the sooner you can see a dentist, the better the outcome. That’s why our compassionate team will make the best effort to see you as soon as we can, even if it is in the evening or on a weekend.

Getting to our office in a timely manner is fairly easy with or without a dental emergency, thanks to our extended hours. We open at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays, and we stay in the office until 7 p.m. on Mondays.

How We Address Common Dental Emergencies

Here are some of the most common dental emergencies and how we can manage them at Lakeside Dentistry:

  • Broken tooth. Depending on how bad the break is, our restorative dentists will evaluate the break and fix it with either a filling or a crown.
  • Knocked-out tooth. If your tooth gets knocked out, our dentists may be able to help you keep it. Place the tooth in milk and, if possible, try to gently work it back into your socket and then see us as soon as possible. If it can’t be saved, we offer tooth replacement options including dental implants, which can be topped with restorations such as dental crowns or dental bridges.
  • Toothache. Tooth pain can signal decay and even infection. Depending on the severity, we will treat it with a tooth filling or a root canal.
